The reason for the enterprise to bend longitudinally is that the edge of the section is subjected to the tension force when the side is bent, which will stretch the entire design section longitudinally, but the tension force cannot stretch the rigid section of our entire system, resulting in the phenomenon of positive upward or downward bending of the front end of the rolled piece. In order to reduce or eliminate longitudinal bending, attention should be paid to the reasonable distribution of deformation in the design, and the latter types of deformation should not be too large. Longitudinal bending can be reduced or eliminated by pre-bending, increasing the number of pass types, using straightening machines, changing the frame spacing, using rollers, adjusting the roll gap, and other measures. 2. Pocket waves are mainly caused by transverse tensile stress and transverse strain during bending, while the strain in the thickness direction of the metal plate is relatively small. According to the Poisson's relationship of material deformation, shrinkage deformation will occur in the longitudinal direction where the deformation is concentrated. The main problem of this social phenomenon research appears at the four deformation corners, so the part that shrinks longitudinally exerts compression force on the plate in central my country. Some rural areas become unstable under the action of force and bag-shaped bulges appear. This is because of what we often call pocket waves. 3. The appearance of edge waves (hereinafter referred to as edge waves) is mainly a combination of two effects: the mechanism is the same as the previous pocket wave, because the material of the bent section is subjected to transverse tensile stress, which produces transverse tensile strain. When the strain in the thickness direction is small, longitudinal contraction occurs according to the Poisson's relationship, and the edge wave is caused by compressive stress; the other is that the material at the edge is stretched and sheared under the action of external force, and then compressed and sheared to produce plastic deformation, resulting in edge waves. These two effects overlap to form a side wave. To reduce or eliminate edge waves, it should be noted that the width of the section edge should not be too large at the beginning of the design. The design with a ratio of the section edge width to the plate thickness close to or less than 40 can be referred to. The bending angle can be allocated by referring to the empirical formula. If the edge wave occurs during the rolling process, it can be reduced by adding some lanes appropriately.
